Kos island is one of the areas in Greece that is being “tested” on a daily basis ever since the beginning of the refugee and migrant crisis. The Cinematographic Team of the Evening High School of Kos created a short film titled “Fortress Europe,” that touches upon issues such as the refugees, the solidarity from the local residents as well as the daily situation that both sides experience.
The short-film provides a unique point of view on the refugee issue and uses poetry and symbolism to capture the situation.
