The crossing point for refugees at Idomeni, Greece, opened a few minutes ago. Fyrom’s authorities are allowing the crossing of refugees with documents stating clearly that the country of their final destination is Austria or Germany.
The authorities said that they closed the border at Idomeni following a notification from the Slovenian authorities of ‘a serious technical problem’ in the Slovenian railway network. Slovenia asked from Croatia, Serbia and Fyrom not to allow trains with refugees to enter its territory until the problem is solved.
On Wednesday afternoon, Fyrom’s authorities said that they will open the crossing point on condition that the Greek authorities will clearly mention in the documents provided to the refugees the country of their final destination.
