Charlie Hebdo Overdoes Itself with Death of Little Syrian Boy Aylan

charlie-hebdo-alan-kurd-708iWhen satire is used as a vehicle for spreading hate and to inflame public opinion, the case can be made that it no longer reflects an expression of free speech but rather a political tool that, more than anything else, plays into the hands of extremist elements who wish to destroy the western way of life.
charlied8Unfortunately, this has been pretty much the case with the celebrated French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on account of its constant tendency to insult Muslims in the name of free speech.
In the latest publication, one of Charlie Hedbo’s sick-minded satirical sketchers makes a mockery of the death of a 3-year-old Syrian boy that drowned on the coast of Turkey by posing the following question: “What would have become of little Aylan had he lived?” The revolting response provided by Charlie Hedbo’s cartoonist is that little Aylan would have been groping and sexually assaulting women in Cologne, Germany.
No doubt, the great French philosophers of the Enlightenment would be turning over in their graves by the cultural debasement of certain elements among the so-called intelligentsia and artistic community of contemporary France who use the right of free speech in order to spread hate and malice.
