Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras chaired a meeting on government work as well as the coordinated actions within the framework of the negotiations for social security reforms.
The SYRIZA parliamentary group is scheduled to convene on Monday afternoon, with Labor Minister George Katrougalos present at a meeting that will focus on the social security system. The government has left the possibility open for corrections in its proposal for social security reforms.
In conjunction with Monday’s meetings, Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos is continuing his European tour, aiming to highlight the need to restructure the Greek debt.
Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos will visit Moscow this week, while he is due to be in Berlin and Frankfurt next week.
Tsipras will have a series of important meetings on the future of the Greek program in Davos, Switzerland.
