tzakri-tsipras-708The investment opportunities for new entrepreneurs and the creation of new job positions via the re-opening of industries that have interrupted their operation in previous years is one of the government’s targets, stated Deputy Economy Minister responsible for Industry Theodora Tzakri speaking to Praktorio 104.9 FM on Tuesday.
Most of the industries, that were shut down are now in the banks’ hands, they can reopen without being nationalized.
“These industries must have building infrastructure and machinery. We refer to industries that can revive with a small effort” said Tzakri adding that the government’s aim in the crisis is to create an opportunity for those workers that have been fired to return to their jobs and for new job positions to open.
Sh also stated that the ministry will facilitate new investors to secure new operation licenses.
“The government aims to restart the economy via HRDF programs. “The aim for the country is to create through development and industrial production, stable and better paid job positions” she concluded.
