President Nicos Anastasiades has said that he had a “good” discussion on Monday morning with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi, who is paying an official visit to Cyprus.
Anastasiades said, in a post on his personal twitter account, that they discussed the Cyprus problem, bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
An official press release said that during the meeting, Anastasiades referred to the common desire of the two countries to strengthen their bilateral relations further, mainly in the investment sector, noting also the importance of their cooperation within the framework of the One Belt One Road.
Anastasiades received the Chinese Foreign Minister at the Presidential Palace. Later on, the President and the Foreign Minister of China expanded talks between delegations of the two countries.
