Although Rita Wilson is mostly known as an actress and producer she also works on music projects in her spare time, and has recently announced that she is set to release a self-titled album in early 2016 and start a 21-city tour.
Wilson’s tour will kick off in the city of Solana Beach, California, and her concerts will feature original songs from her upcoming album which she has co-written with top songwriters like Nathan Chapman, Kara DioGuardi, and Jason Reeves.
In the past, Rita Wilson has shown off her musical talents in Broadway’s “Chicago”, starring as Roxie Hart, and at stints in New York’s Cafe Carlyle. Her previous CD, entitled “AM/FM”, focused on 60s and 70s classics while the songs on her new album are all original productions.
