Three People Missing After Shipwreck off the Coast of Lesvos

The refugee crisis that has engulfed three continents, continues with migrants and refugees steadily trying to reach the Greek islands from Turkey.
On Wednesday, a capsized boat off the Greek island of Lesvos left three people missing. The Hellenic Coast Guard rescued the remaining 21 people who had boarded the boat, according to Greek media reports.
Daily reports from the coast guard show that there are multiple rescue operations conducted around the Greek islands each day.
Bakers Provide Bread
The Associated Press reports that bakers in Northern Greece organized a donation drive that raised 540 kilos of produce. The foods collected include breads, cheese pies.
The produce was taken to the city of Idomeni which lies on the border with FYROM. Migrants and refugees who aim to get further into Europe are currently at Idomeni.
Relocation of Refugees From Greece to Luxembourg Could Begin Next Week
The first relocation of Syrian refugees from Greece to Luxembourg will take place next week, according to European sources.
According to the same sources, the number of refugees to be relocated has not yet been determined. The same sources said that approximately 3,500 refugees are recorded every day in Greece. Moreover, following the European Commission‘s talks with the Pakistani authorities, and in cooperation with the Greek authorities, the return of Pakistani migrants who entered Greece illegally is being prepared.
