Greek Island Ranked 3rd Best Car-Free City in the World

Business Insider wondered how the world would look without cars, traffic lights and lanes painted on the road.
After Paris successfully enforced its first ever car-free day on September 27th, the website made a list of 7 cities in countries around the world were cars are not welcome and people find alternative ways of transport.
The list included the Greek island of Hydra, located in the Saronic Gulf, where people use donkeys to get around, since cars have been banned. There are also several sea taxis and small boats that help residents and tourists travel to the island’s beaches. Hydra ranked in 3rd place, while Giethoorn, Netherlands came in 2nd and Mackinac Island, Michigan took the top spot.
