European Commissioner for Financial and Economic Affairs, Taxation and Customs Pierre Moscovici announced via his Twitter account that he will be in the Greek capital on Wednesday and Thursday.
“In Athens on Wednesday and Tuesday to meet with Alexis Tsipras and Greek authorities. European Commission working with Greece to keep reform momentum,” Moscovici wrote, before posting his announcement in Greek.
Realnews reports that Moscovici will meet with Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Greek Economy Minister Giorgros Stathakis.
On Friday, the Greek parliament will vote on the prior actions that must be legislated if the country is to receive an additional two billion euros from the bailout funds.
