First Underwater Dance-Visual Performance "Drops of Breath" at Cape Sounio

Drops of BreathGreece will host the world’s first underwater dance-visual performance “Drops of Breath”, at Cape Sounio, on September 25th through the 27th.
The performance is an initiative of choreographers Sophie Bulbulyan and Apostolia Papadamaki in collaboration with Lia Haraki and a team from another 12 countries.
The motto of the performance is: “Everybody is equal under the water”. The underwater choreography will take place at a depth of six metres with scenography and costumes by George Georgiou and sound of Tryfon Koutsourellis.
14 professional and amateur performers, including three disabled persons and three children, will perform while the audience can attend in three ways: underwater with special equipment, on the surface of the sea with snorkeling gear or on the beach as three underwater cameras will provide simultaneous screening.
A part of the underwater performance will be presented from the 25th to the 27th of October in the gardens of the Vorres Museum along with an interactive performance of dance and music.
