The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki held a summer programme with the participation of 180 students from 35 countries.
The president of the committee and the representatives of the academic community expressed the hope that the students will be the ambassadors of Greece abroad. The students who came from Egypt, Armenia, Australia, France, Georgia, Switzerland, the USA, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Belarus, Malaysia, Mexico, Ukraine, Russia, Syria, Turkey, Tunisia and Finland had the opportunity to visit the archaeological site of Vergina, the monasteries of Meteora and Halkidiki.
