The upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars” will feature Army National Guard specialist Alex Skarlatos, the Greek-American who gained fame when he and his friends overpowered a suspected terrorist who opened fire on a French train in August.
Skarlatos was widely praised for his actions in helping protect the citizens on the train from the armed man.
He will be partnered with Lindsay Arnold on the dance reality show. The show will also feature Greek-American dancer Mark Ballas, a staple of the show who will team up with Alexa PenaVega, the former child star from “Spy Kids”.
Other noteworthy contestants include the controversial Paula Deen.
“Dancing With the Stars” will premiere this year on September 14th on ABC, so tune in to watch how Skarlatos fares on the competition.
