Amy Sedaris opened up about her work on the animated Netflix series “BoJack Horseman”, a surreal funny satire of Hollywood which had its season 2 premiere on July 17th.
Though the show is animated and has animals living and working side by side with humans, its aimed at adults and widely considered one of the smartest and funniest shows on TV at the moment.
The show centers on the life of BoJack (voiced by Will Arnett), a washed-up nineties sitcom star trying to revive his career after the release of his tell-all biography who also happens to be a horse.
Sedaris voices the character of Princess Carolyn, the manager and sometimes romantic partner of BoJack Horseman. According to Sedaris, although she usually hates watching and listening to herself in her work,“a character like Princess Carolyn [she doesn’t] mind listening to at all. It all depends on the project. But [she likes] to watch this.”
