Legendary Greek composer Yanni, with over 500 million people in over 140 countries across the globe having witnessed his unique live performances, has set a new date with his admirers, this time in the United Arab Emirates.
His powerful instrumental hits will be performed live by world-class musicians that will take the stage at Sharjah’s Al-Majaz Amphitheater on November 6, with the aim to guide Yanni’s restless audience to a magic journey through his music.
The renowned composer, gaining hundreds of millions of fans across the world with his fabulous music ranging from jazz to Greek, classical to rock ‘n’ roll, still refuses to become typecast.
His secret majesty is nestled not just within his music but in his words as well. “I do not like typos, including music. I’d say I write music and I have a tremendous amount of influences from all over the world. It just comes out like that. My heart feels that. I don’t say I’m going to take some classical music and mix with some Greek music and some rock ‘n’ roll and make a song. It’s just an emotion that excites me,” he said some years ago trying to explain his own personal style.
