During a visit to Belgrade, Serbia, on Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed her concern over developments in Greece.
“I think we are not seeing that things in Greece are going so successfully at the moment” she said after praising the Serbian prime minister for implementing a decreased debt policy.
Merkel is visiting Albania, Serbia and Bosnia, three countries that are making efforts to join the European Union. The German Chancellor, who is examining the progress made, said that Albania and Serbia are moving positively toward this direction.
