Hank Azaria was recently selected as a juror for the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival.

The famous actor, born to Greek parents, is one of 34 actors, filmmakers, and Hollywood leaders chosen, along with celebrities like Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother”) and Steve Buscemi. Azaria will be a judge for the Narrative Short Film category.

Along with his fellow jurors, he will be in charge of deciding how to award up to $150,000 in cash and prizes to the winning emerging filmmakers.

The Tribeca Film Festival competition will be held in New York on April 15-26, and the winners will be announced a few days before the competition closes at Spring Studios, on April 23. The festival was started by Robert DeNiro and Jane Rosenthal, and had over 400,000 attendees last year from the film, art and music world.

In addition to his duties as a juror, Hank Azaria has been keeping busy with lots of acting and voiceover work recently. He is playing recurring roles on “The Simpsons”, “Family Guy” and “Bordertown”.
