Greek Student Stabs 3 Girls Who Bullied Her

maria_bullying_GreeceA 22-year-old female student stabbed three of her fellow students who had bullied her, with a knife. “I wanted to stop them, not to kill them. It was the only way to put a stop,” the woman said.
“It was carrying the cross to the Calvary,” the woman told reporters coming out of the courthouse.
The women injured were two Albanian natives, 20 and 21 years old respectively, and a Greek 20-year-old woman. All three sustained knife wounds to their hands. According to the perpetrator, the three women had made her life a living hell as they were continuously bullying her.
The four women were attending classes for the unemployed sponsored by the Manpower Employment Organization (OAED).
A student who witnessed the event said that right before her act, the perpetrator said: “Since I am a very kind person, today you will laugh for the last time.” He also described the perpetrator as a quiet girl.
According to reports, the 22-year-old comes from a poor family and lives in a house without electricity. Her mother spoke to Greek television saying that her daughter had fallen victim of bullying because she was a timid girl without friends.
“Two years in this school they were causing trouble to my daughter. They teased her badly, they were calling her vulgar names. I am 53 years-old and I haven’t heard such insults before,” the mother said. She said that they were bullying her daughter because she didn’t wear nice clothes or make up and didn’t have a boyfriend.
The mother admitted that her daughter had seen a psychologist, after an incident that happened last year. She also said she is confident that the four knives found in her daughter’s sack were put there to incriminate her.
