Rita Wilson made a music video called “Girls Night In,” to “inspire girls and women” to have fun and feel free to be themselves.
Wilson’s “Girls Night In” shows Rita and her real-life friends, including singer Sara Bareilles, dancing around her house and having a great time.
The video is meant to encourage a feeling of sisterhood and freedom among women of every age. At 58, Wilson still believes that the nights she spends hanging out with her closest friends at each other’s houses are the best, compared to going out on the town.
As she says, “staying in, instead of going out, frees you up to be totally yourself. No judgments. No one watching.”
Tom Hanks made a small guest appearance, walking in on the group of close girlfriends having a blast in his and Wilson’s house.
