Greek Population at 7.69 Million in 2080

The Eurostat study projected figures of European population in future decades until 2080.
According to the study, the biggest part of the European population will concentrate in France and Britain, with the number of citizens reaching 78.84 million and 85.14 million respectively. Germany, today’s biggest economy in Europe, will have a population of 65.37 million, down from 81.1 million in 2014.
Iceland will be the least populous country in Europe, numbering 467,000 citizens.
Regarding Greece, there will be a big population decline by 2080. In early 2014, Greek population amounted to 10.992 million people. By 2080, there will be only 7.69 million Greeks.
