Three Greek Citizens Rescued from MRS in Bansko Winter Resort

Bansko
Three Greek citizens were rescued in an operation in Bansko winter resort, Chairman of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) Hristo Grigorov said for Radio FOCUS. He added that the operation was intense and lasted for five hours.

“The three rescued men are Greek citizens who didn’t comply with warning signs and entered a gully where they were trapped. Eleven mountain rescuers with two sledges were involved in the rescue operation that ended well. The three have no injuries and only have discomfort due to exposure to the cold. The fact that rescuers have again held a successful rescue operation is admirable. During the entire season in this region alone, there were 900 people rescued” Hristo Grigorov said.
