4.2 Magnitude Earthquake in Aegean Sea

earthquakeA mild earthquake that measured 4.2 on the Richter scale — according to the Geodynamic Institute — occurred at 10:15 p.m. in the Aegean Sea north of the Greek island of Lemnos.
The preliminary measurements of the earthquake epicenter was 38 kilometers north of the city of Myrina, while the focal depth reached 5 km.
However, Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre claimed that the earthquake measured 4.5 on the Richter scale and its focal depth was estimated at 10 km.
