Agistri Port Filled With Ancient Greeks

Ancient GreeksThe Greek island of Agistri, located in the Saronic Gulf, was suddenly filled up with ancient Greeks. The beautiful island is an ideal destination for sailing fans as it is located near Athens. It hosts all kinds of sailing boats and many tourists from different parts of the world.
Last week, several sailing boats and their crews arrived at the port of Megalochori. The visitors, inspired by the beauty of the island, decided to dress up like ancient Greeks. More than 20 people using sheets as chitons and wearing makeshift wreaths pretended to be ancient Greeks and paraded across the port drawing the attention of both local residents and tourists.
Agistri is a popular destination among the Athenians as it is only one hour away from Greece’s capital. The island is covered with pine trees and is considered to be an ideal place for free camping.
