Members of the Greek Coast Guard rescued 14 illegal immigrants in the sea area of Cape Prassos, located near the Greek island Samos, in the eastern Aegean Sea. The immigrants were traced in a small dinghy during a Coast Guard patrol.
The immigrants were transferred to Vathi town, located in the north-east part of the island.
A few months ago, 30 immigrants without papers were also rescued in Cape Gatos, off the island of Samos.
