Greek American rock/pop artist Electra Barakos released her 2nd single “Tomorrow’s Not There” Tuesday June 10th, on ITUNES.
Electra just finished recording her new album “These Times” with producer Mike Plotnikoff (Halestorm, Buckcherry, Kelly Clarkson). “These Times” was funded by a very successful Kickstarter campaign, raising over $22,000. Fellow Greek musician Phil X (Bon Jovi, Powder) played bouzouki on one of the tracks called “I Can’t Breathe”.
ELECTRA once again teamed up with Chipotle Film productions for her second music video following their very successful music video “Problem Child”. The fun, party themed official music video for the single”Tomorrow’s Not There” will be released on the week of June 16, 2014, just in time for it to be a summer hit!
Leaving Athens to head to Hollywood and fulfill her dream of becoming a musician, Electra’s parents left everything behind in Greece to join her in the States. Forming a band “ELECTRA” described as “pop/rock with a classic twist,” the singer’s father, Yanni, joined as bass player. Other members are Dan Welby on drums, Hyland Church on guitar and Ezequiel Dobrovsky on keys.
The band will release the music video of their new single “Tomorrow’s not there” during a live-event at The Park Bar & Grill in Burbank, CA this Friday, June 13.
