Actress Alexandria Sounis is appearing in the upcoming Clint Eastwood-directed drama, “Jersey Boys.”
Mostly credited as Alexandria Skaltsounis, the half Greek (from Sparta)-half Swedish actress plays the role of Fairgoer in the musical biopic, which hits U.S. theaters on June 20. Starring Christopher Walken, the plot centers on four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s group The Four Seasons.
Starting on stage and screen in California at the age of five, Sounis then switched coasts and grew up in Northern Virginia. While in the D.C. area and NYC, she continued her studies in acting, singing, and dancing.
Most recently, Sounis modeled in over twenty episodes of SyFy’s “Face Off,” and has appeared in music videos for Colombia Records, shorts for AOL.com, hidden camera work for Oxygen Network and MTV, as well as television shows including “How I Met Your Mother” and the pilot for “I Am Victor,” which stars John Stamos. Her role in “Jersey Boys” will be her feature film debut.
