The young residents of Elatochori village in Northern Greece will organize a “Sex & the City” party to promote their village to tourists and Greeks.
On May 3 and 4, the young locals, inspired by the renowned American TV series, will organize an innovative party in Elatochori entitled “Sex and the Village,” inviting the locals and the tourists to wear their bathing suits, relax by the pool and enjoy the cocktails made especially for the party.
On the first day, at the park of Elatochori, the organizers will serve the Elatochoritan, a Greek version of the Cosmopolitan — the favorite cocktail of Carrie Bradshaw — as well as Ouzo Colada with Greek ouzo and Tsipourito with Greek tsipouro. The second day a big party will be held at the village square, with swimming pools, lifeguards, sun beds and of course with music and more cocktails. All participants are required to wear bathing suits and bring along their summer mood.
Furthermore, the guesthouses and the hotels of the village will have special offers and deals for the two days of the party in order to attract more visitors, promote Elatochori and boost the tourism industry of the village.
