A 63-year old local businessman was robbed and murdered by two people early on April 28, outside his house in Alexandroupoli, Northern Greece.
According to the police, two people on a motorcycle stopped outside the businessman’s house when he was headed to work and tried to take his briefcase from the front passenger seat.
The businessman fought with the one of them in an attempt to stop them and the other shot him twice in the chest. The two offenders then grabbed the briefcase and disappeared with their motorcycle. Ten firearm cartridges have been found at the crime scene.
Greek Police have launched a manhunt for the tracking and arrest of the two offenders who are accused of robbery and murder, while the locals are shocked by the tragic incident.
