Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, has joined the Advisory Board of Los Angeles Greek Film Festival.
With more than 20 years’ experience in home entertainment, Sarandos is recognized in the industry as an innovator in film acquisition and distribution. He has led content acquisition for the company since 2000.
Before Netflix, Ted was an executive at video distributor ETD and Video City/West Coast Video. He is a film producer of several prolific documentaries and serves on the Film Advisory Board for Tribeca Film Festival, as well as the retail advisory board for the Digital Entertainment Group. Ted is married to U.S. Ambassador Nicole Avant who became the 13th U.S. Ambassador to The Bahamas in 2009, appointed to the post by President Barack Obama.
