Greek Seamen Continue Strike

limania_apergiaThe Panhellenic Seamen’s Union (PNO) decided to extend its ongoing strike for one more day and immobilize ships from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, as its board announced on April 1.
The executive board of PNO will reconvene on April 2 to decide further mobilizations, based on the results of PNO’s earlier meeting with the Association of Greek Passenger Shipping Companies (SEEN) and the government’s decision concerning the bill on tourists vessels and other provisions.
Seamen also decided to gather on Wednesday, April 2 at 8:30 a.m. at the EUROPEAN EXPRESS vessel and march to the Ministry of Shipping and the Aegean.
