The Greek communities of Italy have started a travelogue of solidarity, in order to boost the efforts of “Medecins du Monde” to support Greek families who have been hit by the economic recession. The first event is the presentation of the book “From Pericles to Papadimos” written by Enzo Terzi. The book describes recent Greek history, particularly highlighting the difficult times the country has faced from its liberation until now. It also mentions the foreign influence on Greece’s historical course over this time.
In agreement with the publishing house, 30 percent of the revenue accruing from sales of the book during its presentation to the Greek communities will be given to “Medecins du Monde.”
