The Delegates adopted a resolution with which they reminded everybody of the uncontested injustice against the Cypriots and expressed their appreciation to Australia for its sympathy and its continuous support at the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus since 1964. The Delegates also asked Australia to exert pressure on Turkey to cooperate in resolving the Cyprus Issue, complying with the United Nations Security Council’s related resolutions.
