Light Tremor Strikes Central Greece

Seismos-2A light earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 9.58 on Thursday at the region of Amfikleia, central Greece.
According to the Geodynamics Institute, the quake’s epicenter was located 115 km northwest of Athens.
The tremor was also felt in Athens.
The professor of Geology Efthimios Lekkas appeared on the state broadcaster DT and claimed there was nothing to be worried about.
In August, the same area was hit by a magnitude-5.1 quake which damaged about 300 buildings.
