Greek Air Traffic Up on January

1971-3511According to data published by Athens International Airport in Greece, January 2014 traffic was up 6.9% y-o-y – the first January with a positive sign since 2010.
Looking in more detail, international passengers increased by 10.9% and domestic ones were flat (+0.1%). This is a significant progress since seasonally 1Q is the weakest of the year.
Moreover, during the same month last year traffic was down 10.6% y-o-y. This performance could imply that Aegean’s’ traffic figure might have improved significantly since last year (1Q 13 Aegean traffic down 3% y-o-y).
