Greek Day in UK School

School Greek DayOn January 28 children from Witton Middle School in Droitwich Spa in the UK, dressed up as ancient Greeks to participate in the school’s Greek Day.

The school organized the special event to help the students learn about ancient Greece and Greek culture in a fun and educational way. The school’s teachers also participated in the initiative and wore costumes during the day.

Children participated in a variety of Greek-themed exercises throughout the day and had fun with their friends. Some of the students enjoyed themselves by participating in a typical ancient Greek war and others were interested in discovering Greek cuisine.

At the end of the Greek day a ceremony took place in order to award the students wearing the best costumes and those who won the exercise events.

“The children had a great day and learned a lot about ancient Greece. The school organized some great Greek-themed experiences and all students and teachers really enjoyed themselves,” said teacher Claire Smith.
