After a bidding war among various networks, Fox picked up a new comedy from Tina Fey this past August and has now officially put the sitcom to order.
The untitled comedy, executive produced by Fey and two of her “30 Rock” counterparts, Robert Carlock and Matt Hubbard, is about an all-women college that opens up its doors to men. Bonnie Dennison, of the NBC crime-drama “Third Watch,” has just been announced as the lead in the pilot episode.
The Greek-American’s production company, Little Stranger, also scored a deal with Universal TV to executive produce a pilot for NBC called “Tooken,” another comedy about a woman who escapes a doomsday cult and starts life over again in NYC.
In addition to prepping her new shows, Fey will once again host this year’s Golden Globe Awards with fellow comedian and actress Amy Poehler on Sunday, Jan. 12 in Los Angeles, Calif.
