EOPYY doctors announced their decision to extend the strike until January 3, 2014, accusing the Ministry of subverting the negotiations.
The decision to extend the ongoing strike came in response to the Greek Ministry of Health’s unexpected decision to include an irrelevant amendment in the controversial primary residence auction bill, only a day after resuming discussions.
The primary residence auction bill, which was meant to regulate the current ban in place, controversially included a raft of irrelevant amendments, that the Ministry of Finance was eventually pressured into withdrawing.
