On Christmas day, the Greek community of Montreal will offer a free meal to all the families and elderly people who find it hard to make ends meet. The meal will be served on Christmas day once the Divine Liturgy is over. Traditional food and of course turkey will be included on the menu.

The president of the Greek community in Montreal, Nikos Pagonis, stated on ANA-MPA: “The board’s members and our families will be present at the festive lunch to keep company to those who are in real need. It is our human nature that dictates us to be with people of our community or immigrants that have arrived recently in Montreal and are either alone or poor; on this special day we should stand by these people as a family.”

The festive Christmas meal will be followed by the arrival of Santa Clause who will give presents to the children.
