The members of a small Australian far-right party, Australian First, participated in a solidarity rally in favor of Golden Dawn. The protesters were gathered outside the Greek Embassy in Sidney.
The head-protester was the president of the Australia First party, Jim Saleam. Jim Saleam gave a relative resolution to the Greek embassy.
The protesters demonstrated against “the violation of the democratic rights of Golden Dawn MPs that are under pre-trial custody, something that is against Greece’s constitution.” Those who protested in favor of Golden Dawn, claimed that Golden Dawn prosecution is political “while many other political figures and citizens involved in illegal actions are out of jail. We will stand by Golden Dawn’s side until the final victory” stated Jim Saleam.
The Australian First party is against immigration and its popularity is really low among Australian voters.
