The Greek Theater International, sister organization of the Greek Theater of New York, was founded in 2010 and its goal is to promote the Greek civilization worldwide. This March and April the organization will tour Australia and New Zealand. They will present one of the most famous and imperishable texts of ancient Greek literature “The Apology of Socrates” starring the Greek Theater of New York founder and Emmy award winner, Yannis Simonides. This play has been performed nearly 300 times in over 15 different countries.
