Cinemax has released a trailer for the upcoming second season of their original series, “Banshee.”
The show, created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler and executive produced by Alan Ball (“True Blood”), has Greek-American and Emmy Award winner Greg Yaitanes at the helm directing many of the episodes. Yaitanes also serves as Executive Producer.

Centered in Banshee, Penn., the suspenseful series revolves around Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the town’s sheriff where he continues his criminal activities, even as he’s hunted by the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier. The cast includes Antony Starr, Ivana Milicevic, and Ulrich Thomsen. The first season featured Christos Vasilopoulos as the right-hand man of gangster Mr. Rabbit.
