The main topic of conversation during a meeting between the Minister of Development and Competitiveness, Kostis Hatzidakis, and European Commissioner of Internal Market and Services Michel Barnier, was the priorities of the Greek Presidency for the first 6 months of 2014 and the process of structural changes and the policy of public agreements.
Specific reference was made to the electronic procurement system which is already used in the Single Procurement Program and in the new law for the public agreements.
Also under discussion, was the agreement of the public procurement sector to extend the cooperation with the Task Force on know-how subjects.
The European Commissioner will also meet the Greek Minister of Finance, Yannis Stournaras. He also has a scheduled meeting with the Governor of the Bank of Greece, George Provopoulos.
