The earthquake happened 12 minutes after 5:00 p.m. and in accordance with the Institute of Geodynamics, it was 4.2 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the earthquake according to Institute of Geodynamics was 14 kilometers north of Lamia. The focal depth was just 23 kilometers.
The seismic wave was felt throughout all of Central Greece.
