Yesterday the MP of New Democracy Dora Bakoyanni, stated that the antisocial measures imposed by the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, will not help in convincing DIMAR to return to the coalition government.
According to sources from newspaper Ta Nea, the most important officers of DIMAR stated that they are not willing to return or even to negotiate returning to the coalition government due to the antidemocratic imposed measures, the huge taxation and the big rates of unemployment. However nothing is final yet, since PASOK is troubled by rebel MPs and the government;s parliamentary majority is under threat.
Through an interview on a Greek channel, the MP of PASOK ,Triantafyllos, asked DIMAR to rejoin the coalition government, while the “broadest possible consensus is necessary, there must be a greater parliamentary majority.”
On the other hand, DIMAR MP Dimitris Hatzisokratis seemed flexible in his interview. He even stated that it is impossible to rejoin the DIMAR coalition government, it’s possible to make a new deal with the government for the country’s sake.
