Manolis Sfakianakis, director of the Cyber Crime Unit (CCU) sent a stern warning out to those who use the internet for illegal actions- this warning took place today, during the Panhellenic Interdisciplinary Conference on preventing and dealing with online high-risk behaviors.
The director stated: “There is no more anonymity on the internet, the party is over,” emphasizing “no more blackmails, there is policing, there is state, there is control.”
The FBI-trained Brigadier General Mr.Sfakianakis also referred to the social role of the service, noting that in just 8 minutes the Cyber Crime Unit can detect and identify a user who wants to commit suicide.
This is a record time for which he was awarded by the FBI.
