Greek President: The Crisis Will Be Overcome

greek_presidentToday, the celebrations of October 28th and the school parade took place in Thessaloniki. The elementary and high schools students of Thessaloniki paraded in front of the grandstand official.
In attendance of the school parade was Region of Central Macedonia Tzitzikostas, General Secretary of public works Simopoulos, special secretary of National Defense Ministry Economou and the Greek President.
The President of the Hellenic Republic inaugurated the Relics exhibition entitled “So we fought in 1940,” which took place at the Ministry of Macedonia, Thrace. He also expressed his optimism that Greece will overcome the crisis.
Additionally, the Greek President stated “This exhibition passes timeless messages and gives hope that Greece will get over this. The victorious yet difficult Greek battles in the past gives a hopeful message that Greece will get through the difficulties once again.”
At the same time, he referred to the exhibition saying “Beyond the emotion is a remembrance of a historical event which surpasses human nature. This exhibition highlights exactly those days when we talk about heroism.”
The Greek President received the gold medal for bravery from Minister of Macedonia- Thrace, Theodoros Karaoglou.
