Google Launchpad's Second Station: Athens

GoogleGoogle Launchpad is the free four-day seminar organized by Google that will take place from Oct. 7 at the National Museum of Contemporary Art, in Athens.
Google Launchpad addresses newly-founded companies of technology and developers all around Greece, with the aim to share ideas and technical skills, in order to form groups, create new products for the market and develop their businesses.
Google executives and other developers from abroad will guide the participants and present them key-tools for achieving success in the Greek and international market. At the end of the seminar, the groups will present their work in front of a committee of businessmen and the best ideas will gain further support for their realization.
Athens is the second city to host Google Launchpad after Tel Aviv. This series of seminars is part of Google’s international effort to support businessmen from all over the world via programs, cooperations and its products, offering new chances to individuals and companies.
On Oct. 10, at the Megaron-The Athens Concert Hall will take a place a lecture entitled Technology as a Spark for Growth with Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google as the main speaker. Lukas Tsoukalis, Professor, President of ELIAMEP (Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy) will open the lecture. Schmidt is also expected to talk at Google Launchpad.
