Loutraki Casino Refutes Βankruptcy Reports

kazino_loutraki_593_355Reports tearing through Greek media that the major casino of Loutraki will go out of business was being discredited by the business’ officials on Oct. 6. They denied it would go bankrupt, a report fueling worry among its workers.
The Public Relations Manager, Yiannis Vrachatis, speaking to the Greek news agency AMNA said the news of bankruptcy is untrue and false.
The casino is not asking for protection from its creditors, but has come to an agreement with them, said Vrachatis. He added that, “The consortium of the Casino of Loutraki has sent to the Court of Corinth a request to approve the agreement concerning the regulation of the debts with its creditors. The adoption of this agreement by the court will ensure the continuance of the operation of the company and the employment of 1,400 workers.”
The approval of the agreement will be discussed at Corinth Court on Oct. 9.
