Leader of Golden Dawn in Prison

mixaloliakosGolden Dawn party leader, Nikos Michaloliakos, has been in the reconstructed female prison of Korydallos since October 3. For the first time a political party leader has been considered a leader of a criminal organization.
Michaloliakos complied with all the rules of prison and after his arrival went to the prison’s secretariat. There he followed the prescribed procedure, which means that he went through physical inspection and handed in his belongings. Then prison officials opened a file, took his photograph, and led him to his cell. Giannis Lagos went through the same procedure.
Their cell has two beds, a table with two chairs and a toilet. Until yesterday there was no TV, which is expected to be installed today. Yesterday a pay phone was placed in a common area for the detainees to communicate with their lawyers and family.
Michaloliakos and Lagos have their own yard to avoid contact with other prisoners. In an adjacent building are the imprisoned members of Nov. 17, but they have no contact.
However, the detainees’ reactions in the male court jails are continuing. Yesterday, the arrival of the Golden Dawn members in prison caused panic and angry reactions.
According to Newsit, Michaloliakos and Giannis Lagos had the regular breakfast served without requiring anything  different. The leader of Golden Dawn passed a quiet night in his cell. He still remains calm and is encouraging Lagos.
