After shooting his wife in the back with a shotgun, a man in Kosmio, Komotini, turned the gun on himself and put an end to his life.
According to information, before the man committed suicide, he called the police and said he had killed his wife. The police arrived at the couple’s home to find their dead bodies in a pool of blood.
Reportedly, the coroner immediately rushed to the crime scene to find that their deaths were instantaneous. So far, the causes which led the offender to shoot his wife and then commit suicide remain uncertain. At the same time great shock has spread among local residents.
Everyone close to the couple stated that in the past their behavior had never drawn any attention. The most tragic figures are their close relatives, who rushed to the scene of the tragedy when they were informed of it.
